Yes. Probably either way there will be a drop in price. If it does pass there will be a whole new black market opening up I assure you, and that black market probably won't support the insane priced we have yet to see.

What's a Black Market? Are you saying manufacturers will continue to make the banned items? Where is that stuff sold? Did this happen during the Clinton years?

I think there will be a massive drop in price, along with an overwhelming flood on the market of rifles, parts, and accessories. If a ban doesn't happen (honestly, I don't think we'll make it out of this completely unscathed), then expect to get armed cheap later.

I say in 3-6 months, if they aren't banned, we'll be paying maybe 80% or less of the of the pre Sandy Hook prices on AR's AK's, and accessories.

Oh, and the AR-10 is in .308, and there was a 30-06 AR at one time. They can also come in 50 BMG.
Im not really into "customizing" so that doesnt really concern me...
Like my friends make fun of me for my old guns I make fun of their new ones.. I think all that stuff is for "wusses"

I dont care for the doctrine that led up to the adoption of the AR/M-16..
In WWI the "average" soldier could hit a man sized target with his M1903/M1917 at 1000 yds, not the modern "meh... the average soldier cant see more than 400 yds, so why do they need a rifle that can shoot farther?"

Hell, Ive read that Buffalo hunters used to pick off Indians at 1000 yds with their single shot Sharps...

I guess im more impressed with people shooting a 1000yds with iron sights, than those who can shoot 2000 with that fancy Barret and 40x scope...

Id rather have the skills of a 100 years ago, than the technology of today....

I'm rather fond of modern toilet tissue though.
