You should be able to tell by the the VIN the last 8 digits of the VIN will be something like 9X123456 that's a 69, if it's 7X123456 that's a 67

My 68 only has 13 digits in the VIN. Not quite sure what year they went to the standardized 17 digit VIN or how to interpret the older ones.

the red Chevelle is a 69. the 68 and 69 had the same body. but notice it has no vent windows, so there for it's a 69, because a 68 had vent windows. i had a 67 Chevelle and the body style is different than the 68 and 69. the body style also changed in 70.

Isn't it awesome having CA357 posting on here regularly again? It's been a long time and I'm so glad he's back.

I was pretty sure I was right, they also started putting rear markers on the 69 the 68 didn't have them. I think the Camaros are the same way.

I'll have to go look at the VIN tag, I have a chart but it's at work.

My VIN tag on my 68 says 8XX123, so I think it's the same

I'm washing all the curtains in my house and I feel like a fish in a fish tank and everyone's looking in at me.
