After a hard days of physical work, there's nothing better than a shower, and hot food.

And back in my drinking days, an ice cold beer. I used to pick up a fence post Budweiser on my way home from work every day in the summer. And yes, I drank it while going down the road. Poor judgment maybe, but the store was three miles from home, which equaled about 6 sips before I pulled in the drive, if I was drinking fast. Usually only 3-4.

I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillement of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause, and lies exhausted on the field of battle... Victorious.
Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats.

So county sheriff did NOT like hearing a round chambered in my pistol after he knocked on my door at 10:15 last night. I'll bet he identifies himself next time!

I understand the explanation. But explain that to the cop who stops you with an open liquor container while driving. He doesn't care if you hadn't even sipped out of it yet.

The cops that frequented the area were our local drug dealers. I weren't too concerned.

This dude ain't acting.
This is one show that, while I know many of the situations are scripted, their personalities are NOT.
By the way. One of the situations that was scripted was the vineyard purchase. No... That didn't really happen. Landry's is still Landry's.
