I've been fighting an invasive species in my yard for years- dichondra. It grows for about a month in spring, then dies down. Just long enough to kill the grass. It has spread 100 yards in one direction, 150 in another. Worse thing about it, it was planted as a ground cover.

Headed to buds range. At least I can shoot my own ammo there.

Check out an herbicide called Turflon. It works on broadleaf weeds and should be safe for your lawn. Check with a groundskeeping supply place (or maybe your local golf course groundskeeper).

If I didn't live on a street with other houses, I'd just have a gun range in my front yard. Lawns are just a hassle, once I leave California I'm just going to surround my house with plants, trees, and rock.

I think I should be in a commercial for Tide and OxyClean. I wore a sweatshirt a few days in a row working in my garage. He was a grey one. It got filthy with motor oil, dust, dirt, grime, etc. The cuffs on the sweatshirt were absolutely black. I thought it was a goner, for sure. I sprayed OxiClean pretreatment spray on it then washed it with a Tide Pod detergent cube and it looks brand new again. Amazing. Yeah, I'm easily entertained.

I swear, that OxyClean can get anything clean. You have worse than oily, greasy grimey clothes? And Tide is the best. I have Tide and some cheaper laundry detergent. I use the cheaper stuff for regular laundry and Tide for the very 'challenging' laundry.

Yeah, I know. I need to get a life.
