Yup. That's exactly how my Sicilian Nana used to do it. She'd put the spaghetti sauce on before church in the morning and we wouldn't eat dinner until around 1400. On Sundays we'd always eat a huge late lunch then just have hot dogs or something around 1900.

Aluminum makes a crappy smoker. It won't last very long (and some say cooking with aluminum in any way causes Alzheimer's). You need to use heavy steel because of the heat. Old compressor or propane tanks work really well, just have to be careful in cutting up an old propane tank so as not to blow yourself up.

Think I turned 30 today . Think its just bad arthritis from all my hay day mis haps
Think i have wore my body out way before its time . No one wants do cut on my back b/c im so young and I will need a hip replacement before 40 and they still dont have a clue about my knee . Every time I hit my shins it take 3 months for the bruise to go away and it stays tender for another 3 .
Years of atv wrecks , jumping cars and trucks , some demo derby and not knowing how to let off the throttle in 6-7 ft seas , coupled with being billy bad ass by jumping in and out of boats with no ladders , all have caused my joints to hate life

Wasn't even thinking about them could be aluminum, just thinking about all the steel ones from the mines that were made into smokers

We talking about fuel tanks still? Most are aluminum, it weighs less...
