I'm definitely having a shot of Templeton rye before bedtime.
After the drinkin, smear a lil IcyHot on your forehead and UNDER your eyes but not tooo close to the eyes or nostrils. In a couple of minutes you will need some tissues or a wet/dry vacuum hose. It will suuuuuck for about 15 minutes, then the pressure will have been reduced greatly (and grossly).

I read somewhere that whisky, fresh lemon juice and honey combined was proven to ease cold symptoms. It tastes damn good.

I'm a little suspicious when my 4 year old comes out to the computer and the first things out of his mouth is "I love you mommy".

I'm thinking...ok... what did he do? It was no big deal, he broke my daughters little ceramic saucer for her dolls. I'm actually surprised they didn't break a long time ago...

Hot tea is my preference to plain hot water. Especially some of the herbal tea like sleepytime tea.

chamomile tea is the best I know for the throat, and it is a weed around here so I get all I want for free! Also, use raw local honey. That stuff you get in the store is crap- much of it comes from China and is not really honey.
