Well, for it to feasibly work, we would have to remove all knowledge, and remove the desire to kill each other more efficiently than our neighbors. That's why I threw that "feasible" part in there. I wouldn't be totally against it, except that I'm now convinced we'd all be a bunch of smelly hippies but it simply can't be done.

Having the fact that guns are a part of our evolutionary history, as of now, I'm more interested in historical guns than anything. Also, a point in favor of guns, is the fact that they are absolute engineering marvels. I mean really, have you ever broken down a SAW? Look at it's simplicity coupled with it's deadliness. Absolutely beautiful.

And because I may one day be attacked with one, I find it relevant to keep one of my own.

It goes the same with fast cars. They evolved from competitive nature, just as guns were.

So... now that I think further into it, if mankind didn't have this competitive streak, we'd all be a bunch of walking, non violent hippies.

Long Live The Gun!!!!!!!!!!!
Hippies... My son doesn't like them either. He says they smell funny.
Oh, well when you put it like that, I guess that's ok (especially since it will never happen). I guess I can also put this away now.

I don't eat chicken, and birds are gross/freaky with all that squawking and flapping around and such, but eggs are AWESOME! Waffle House was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooo good the other night, solo for a egg/cheese sammich plate scattered, smothered, covered, diced, peppered, and capped on texas toast. Hell, i may go back tonight.

so, pre-chickens>chickens

Well as a non-violent, long-haired, bare-footed, dirty hippie; I can tell you your assumptions are wrong...
I live in the AZ desert, the ground is 150 degrees, everything is sharp (and/or) poisonous.. If I wanted to walk, I woulda bought some nice boots, not a Scout..

Now excuse me while I go clean my Medusa and Tula SKS......
