I understand that not many others feel this way, because a 90 year old grandma can't very well be expected to defend herself with a kitchen knife very successfully, among other examples of guns being the great equalizer, but this is my personal opinion.
Makin' fun of hippies, and now this??!? Man, Trip...

Im sorry, but if SD was the reason I bought guns, I woulda stopped with a handgun and a shotty..... Not a bunch of 5+ ft. long battle rifles..
I buy them because I enjoy them..

Whats the "need" for a car that does over 100 mph, when the highest speed limit is 85??

Is it just me or do your cars and trucks tend to be attracted to obama signs on the side of the road ? They must have very strong magnets in them , even the bumper stickers , when ever I encounter one going down the road my truck somehow magically swerves in their lane , I cant control it and it baffles me .
Boat trailers are hell , they go wild and start fish tailing like crazy when they get beside one , it really really scares the drivers of said cars with said stickers

Got the grizzly back up and running again today , strong as ever , and I got some space in the shop freed up again

Only on public roads. People can drive offroad too.
A family friend recently went to TX to track his car, hit about 183mph.

Do you "need" to go over 100? Why?

I think you guys missed my point.... Trip said he would give his guns up, if criminals didnt have them, as he could defend himself with other means...

I didnt buy a 6 foot long Arisaka because I was concerned about self defense, I dont "need" it... But I like the history behind it and its fun to shoot, so why shouldnt I have one?

I understood perfectly, I think YOU missed MY point.

But really I see your point. I enjoy shooting as well. What the hell Trip?

I did miss your point.... Considering the roads where I live look like this:

"Race Car" is kinda a moot point.....
