Knowing nothing but the type of stone quarried, the last two letters of the street fronting it, and the pattern and species of trees surrounding it, I was able to track it down, got the address, and knew the name of the property owner.

I used overlays from geographical survey data, botanical survey data, public records, and google earth.

Apparently there are very few places in the continental US that is home to both that type of rock, AND that species of tree. Couple that with the public records of several mining companies.

It took me 15 minutes or so.

And Trip, who was your most notable former employer?

Do you know BobTheFed?

Are you now or have you ever been a member or agent of a law enforcement agency?

Most notable was the Marine Corps, I know a guy named Jack (not his real name I'm sure) who specializes in HUMINT, and I did a short stint with military police.

But I learned that stuff in college, through my dendrology classes.

Its not the DoD per say , I think its a private contractor for the DoD . I would randomly sabotage the equipment out there so it would take longer
'' aw man that sucks ! another 2 weeks before repairs are done ? ''

Doing some unofficial community service . A trooper buddy brought his grizzly in to put a pipe and jet kit in and since his computer messed up along with his mic and dash cam , he could not write me that ticket for 87 in a 55 I guess mine will mess up when it comes time to write the invoice
