Sorry to hear that; even good people that we care about make mistakes.

I need some kind of pole system that can go at least 80ft , it needs to be small , sturdy , be able to break it back down and needs to be cheap . I need it to suport and guide a underwater camera so I can find the crane ,vw bug and motorcycle out in the quarry . Im thinking 1/2 pvc ?

Never understood what can make a persons life so bad that they dont see away out . I have had several family members take their own life including a cousin whos girl friend left him . Aint nothin in life worth taking yours over , specially some huzzy .
I believe God will never lay anything on you more than you can handle .
I would never consider suicide but if anything ever happens to my kids , I would sure be begging for death .
Life is funny , had you told me when I was a kid that my 1st true love would die right in front of me , my mom would get and die from cancer and I would have twins and a wonderful family , I would have laughed at you . You cant make any plans in life , you just live and deal with the punches and enjoy the cherries when they come along

not sure that 1/2" would be sturdy enough, if you couple three 10' sticks of schedule 40 together you can bend them into a circle. maybe 1/2" EMT?

I agree. PVC is not nearly rigid enough, especially if you want to have any control over the camera 80' up on the surface. Just not gonna work. There is a reason why all of those undersea cameras are ROV's. I have a friend who has designed several of those systems for the Monterey Bay Aquarium, one of which is on a track and operated by visitors to the Aquarium, but even that one is directed through a tether cable, the track, which is rigidly mounted to the ground, is only there to keep the visitors from damaging the equipment.

I thought you were going to get somebody to dive for them? Didn't you say something about that?

There's an idea. Buy a toy submarine (remote controlled of course), and mount your camera on that. May have to shop a bit to find one that will go that depth.
