This happened a couple days ago in Salt Lake. Just found a link to the story. Pretty awesome.

Woodwoker- that picture was taken BEFORE the ill fated FTF boating excursion....

Cinder- we recently had similar one here- Goblin decided to rob small neighborhood store, stabbed merchant. One of the customers shot the goblin. Single action Colt .45 revolver.

There have been no appeals. Merchant is recovering.

So, there is this picture on Yahoo News with the story about secret Syrian assistance from the U.S. Dude appears to be using an AK47 left-handed. http://www.yahoo.com/ It's one of the stories at the top that you can tab through.

Does it strike anyone else as tongu-in-cheek that an article about secret help for these people shows a person who is using a firearm left-handed in a society that would seem more likely to be VERY much dominated by right-handed people?

I saw it, pointed, and said "FAKER, toilet tissue user!". It's good i'm not in a cubicle farm.

Who carries a single action colt .45 revolver, besides this guy you mention. Just not what comes to my mind for ccw. He did have rule 1 covered.

One of the NRA Magazines did a whole piece on single action carry. I think it's pretty cool, age not what I would choose, still awesome.

The gun I just ordered that I intend to carry, once I'm proficient with it, is single action.
