Monday , I go to the sprint nextel store and reluctantly order a new phone since they are doing away with nextel and the towers . I paid for overnight which should have come in yesterday , no show , so I go in while ago and overhear the sales guy bitching about the system being backlogged till 6 tonight so they cant do any activations . so I ask if my phone even came in . nope !
WTF ! I hate cell phone companies , well I hate big corporates in general .

Gotta do the same thing, what an ass pain, just figured this phone out (mostly ). Its a company phone so they got it to we can get sprints phones for. 99 cents. Think I'm gping to drop sprint altogether and go wirh boost, my daughter has boost and her phone is way cheaper than mine and does a lot more. I can't even play youtube videos unless I piggyback off a hotspot. Hers is $50, unlimited, mine is almost $90, very limited.

I just did the SAME EXACT THING yesterday...Pizzes me off that they didn't bother to tell me that my old phone would not work, lost 2 jobs having no cell from Fri-Tues... 
They kind of chuckled at me when I brought in my old dino-phone...said I'd been eligible for a free upgrade since 2008...I said, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Had to sign a 2 yr contract...was month to month before...and they no longer offered the plan I was under...free incoming, free cell to cell...we'll see just how this works out...

I think I may get an AK someday and chrome it. I wonder if a regular automotive chrome shop can do it?

Not to be insulting to disabled people, but how many of you have witnessed an argument between a lifelong deaf couple? I'm at the library right now applying for more jobs, and about to head out and hit the road for some face time with possible employers, and this elderly deaf couple next to me have gotten into an argument with each other.
I won't take video, out of respect for them, (besides, they can still see...) but to watch them frantically signing in large exaggerated movements, while pointedly looking away from each others hands, is a very interesting scene.
I doubt it's very funny to them, because whatever it is has them both pretty upset. In fact, the husband just got up and walked away.
I can't help but wonder what it was they were arguing about...
Husband just came back, blew a raspberry at wife, and sat back down to his computer.
I see this couple almost every day.

Was at a local college, which housed offices for the city Center for the Deaf. Panhandler came thru handing out the little cards that say "I'm deaf- please give me money". When he hit THAT office,, and handed a card to the young lady who IS deaf, and teaches sign language, it was a HOOT! Thought we were gonna have to pull her off him!
