Found one of the boats in for service had sunk on the trailer over the weekend , and it would belong to a man very high up in the state patrol .
So far it ruined 4 marine batteries , a 4 bank on-board charger , filled the oil and fuel tank and thats as far as i got after draining and pumping for an hour . Any one wanna call him for me ?

Not my fault , boat is full of pine straw and would not drain .

In the parking lot? Did the guy leave it uncovered under a pine tree all winter or something?

Still adapting to Az laws... sure is nice not having to disarm before going out to burn one. Speed limits suck around here... but no helmet law so it balances out

Default Hey, 'Gello.......

There is a 90 year old woman in the hospital. She is here for syncope (fainting) and ETOH intoxication. If that's not odd enough (at least it is to me) she had a positive drug screen. She was positive for THC (marijuana). I am not kidding. And medicinal marijuana is not legal in this state. I just find this very interesting, indeed. What should one get great-grandma for Christmas? How about a new bong.

I get more boats that sink on the trailer than in the water and it can be equally devastating .
Yes people either leave plugs in or the drains stop up with trash . If its and inboard or jet then you have really screwed up but if its outboard then its not as bad .
I had a jet stay under all winter filled to the brim , drained it out cleared the engine and fuel and fired it up , still running today .
My service boat sank in 30 ft and stayed under for two weeks , after we pulled it out I got the fish out , changed oil , cleared the engine and flushed the fuel system and she is still rocking , starter , alternator and all gauges still work . All the interior and floor had to be replaced or ripped out from the oil slick and being water logged .
Had one lost at sea for over a month upside down and when we found it we go it in and she still lives although it has some corrosion issues now and the entire electrical system is pucked . saltwater and batteries dont play nice together

IF A ENGINE EVER GOES UNDER WATER AND IT CAN NOT BE CLEARED RIGHT AFTER ... LEAVE IT SUBMERGED , IT WILL SURVIVE !

But when batteries hit water , they are toast , with average marine battery costing 100.00 and a 4 bank battery charger running around 400 , he is at 800.00 before labor and terminal repair . Still have to flush the fuel and oil tanks , then find away to kill the 1 billion skeeters that have made it home .

On a different note : Can you buy the line launchers like the navy uses for tag lines ?
I sold my ar but I do have the 37mm launcher

I am not at all surprised; you would be amazed how many older people take a little "medicine" now and then. Did she have any glaucoma symptoms or arthritis? A friend of mine traded medicine with an older guy for a looooong time; the older guy didn't like the heavy painkillers the doctor prescribed. Old guy died not long ago, i heard.
