Happy news, I get to keep my toe. I'll be off work for 3 days, eat the remainder of my vacation days, and have to hold off on my next firearm purchase, but the man upstairs watched me on this one.

Thanks to all who kept me cheerful during this time.

By french kissing her!

Vince was born in 'Isreal', its on the complaint form! I wonder if he provided the spelling or the officer went it alone?

I think the Mossad may pay Vince a visit without him ever knowing what happened!

So just watched Quantum of Solace, he sports a PPK. This thing picks up immediately where Casino Royale ended. The arm of choice in CR was the P99.

Is this a continuity nightmare or what? He's in a world with computer screens that appear on walls, and carries an underpowered dinosaur.

Should have started the Realistic Bond Gun Choice Thread.

You know, I was watching Quantum last night & a question came up about Bond's drink in another thread and in both Casino Royale and Quantum he has:

3 parts quality Gin
1 Part Vodka
Shaken until ICE COLD
then served in a martini glass with a very thin strip of lemon.

I tried it. It's kind of harsh... LOL

I agree though - Bond needs a real gun. Ian Fleming LOVED Walther though - I have no idea why....
