I would so like to have an electric pickup truck.

Personally, I know several people who drive a Prius. It makes it very difficult to complain about the price of gasoline in front of them.

I do that all the time. Whenever I am at the range I pick up brass or empty brass boxes if possible. I have a bunch of spent brass in all calibers. I don't reload but I am going to give it to someone who does. As for the .22's, I'm going to try to recycle them.

I usually pick up a bunch of brass while I'm there, but I'm kind of picky about it though. I know two people in my area so I just pick up what they reload, which is just about every common hunting caliber and then 9mm.
Never gave a thought about picking up rimefire cases until just recently and it's for the same reason your doing it. Haha

The torque could be awesome. I would want a small natural gas-powered generator under the hood for extending the range, kind of a plug-in hybrid.

Why not just run it on natural gas? I think at current prices, it would be cheaper, considering battery life span, maintenence, etc...

I'd like to see where they go with hydrogen engines. I think they could be a good replacement for gas.

Because of the losses of power during braking and idling and such. With regenerative braking via wheel motors, you could get a LOT more out of your natty gas. Kinda like a diesel electric train, only with a big battery for rear wheel traction.

Load the magazine to capacity, chamber a round, push another round on top of the load gate and under the bolt. From what I saw, seems more of a hassle.
