1st delete the old address from your Amazon account.
2nd contact the people at the old address and ask them to forward it to you. There is no charge if the package is unopened and USPS. The package is addressed to you and keeping the package is theft. With UPS it should be refused unopened and returned to sender.

Did you set up a forwarding address for mail tor that old address? If you did, it will come to you at the new asdresss. I had that happen when I moved to OK. The package was delivered to my old address but was then forwarded to my new address. But my daughter lives in my old house so it wouldn't have been any loss.

That works only if the mail people notice/give a $#!?. I still get mail for people that lived at my address in the early nineties, and that's after multiple calls to the local P.O., returns by hand, "refuse" in large bold letters on the envelopes, etc.

Junk mail is never forwarded. Only 'real' mail. We still get junk mail addressed to Balota's ex-wife and she hasn't lived here since 2009. Am are you getting a former residents junk mail or 'real' mail? The choice isn't if the mail personnel give a ****. It's computerized. All real mail will be forwarded for one year.

There definitely has been both, but some junk is hard to to discern from real mail. Also, several years ago I received about six pieces of mail at different times, from another name and address that wasn't even close to mine. It was the same area code.

This isn't even going into the whole shebang of a piece of mail a week that had been opened. That stopped when the delivery guy retired.

Isn't the mail delivery person supposed to verify what they are shoving into the mailbox?

I shouldn't complain, in the last year or so there hadn't been any foul ups that I can recall.

On a lighter note, this reminds me the mailman in "better off dead" (1985) lmao...

Because there is a hole in the bottle. If you get one of these, it does not have a hole in the bottle.

Well, it does, but the hole and the bottle are in different dimensions.
