Spring is here in Central VA. Last Friday, we had snow. Today, I can hear the frogs peeping down at the pond.

Each stamp was redeemable for a tiny fraction of a cent. It would take hundreds or thousands of green stamps to be able to redeem them for some trivial item.
Each Green Stamp had a cash value of 1 mill.
What's a mill?
1/10 of a Penney, or one millionth of a dollar.
It took a LOT of green stamps to get that mini bus they always had in the back of the catalogs.

In South Carolina the temperature has been bouncing between the high 70's and the low 50's, but the trees and flowers are blooming and birds returning. So I guess Spring has sprung.
