C3, I met this little ol' Japanese lady on the big island in the middle of Kapaau that made the best sushi I've ever eaten. The place was clean, but falling down around her ears. I mean literally the place was falling down. But man could she make sushi. I rented a house not far from where she had this place and we went by about every day to sample her goods. Fond memories...

While sitting in the carport waiting for my daughter, I looked up and noticed there was this metal "mesh" sort of stuff in the rafters of the carport. Does anyone know why? There is nothing stored up there. I couldn't figure out the need for this meshing sort of stuff.

I saw many interesting things in my travels to and from Oklahoma. This is a sign I saw in O'Hare airport on my way home. What the heck does this sign mean? 'Maybe there are airplanes here'? Anyone know what this means?

To keep birds off the rafters so you can see out the windshield?

It may be a safety net to catch falling objects, dislodged by the constant vibration and shock waves.

It's the restroom sign for planes that think they may have to go potty!

There ya go. That's it. I would have never figured it out myself, though.
