I have a Ruger GP100 that shoots .38 There are semi-auto's that shoot .380 Auto. What is the difference between these two calibers? To my uneducated point of view, they seem like they would be the same. I know they're not and I would never interchange them but what is the difference?
Then there is the .38 Super. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.38_Super

There are more than a dozen cartridges with "38" somewhere in the name- MOST of which do not interchange.

A lot are for revolvers- but for autos, besides the .380 and .38 Super, there was also a .38 Auto, and the .38 AMU (semi auto version of the .38 Special wadcutter- developed by the US Army Marksmanship Unit- AMU)

You are too funny. My revolver shoots .38's, too. But I don't think that's what you meant.

Here's a question for ya'll, how do the chefs at Shoguns learn how to do this? Do they have a school or something for that? There was one at my local Shoguns that took my completely full drink and spun it around without spilling a drop. He also set his hand on fire.

I used to work with a guy who did similar things as a bartender. He was a celebrity bartender back in the 1980's and trained Tom Cruise for the movie "Cocktail".
