I might need to, wind has been blowing hard for almost 2 days now, and I know there's at least 4 zipties on the ground.

I'm afraid winter has not made it to my part of Oklahoma yet. It was 70 today and I think Wed and Thur supposed to get close to 80.

Okay, here I am again with another basic question. Please be patient with me.

I have a Ruger GP100 that shoots .38 There are semi-auto's that shoot .380 Auto. What is the difference between these two calibers? To my uneducated point of view, they seem like they would be the same. I know they're not and I would never interchange them but what is the difference?

Info on the .380 ACP
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.380_ACP

And on the .38 Special
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.38_Special

One is designed for revolvers (.38 Special) and is the father of the .357 Magnum (same bullet diameter, but the .357 has a longer case).
The .380 ACP was designed by John Browning for use in pistol designs he was working on at the time. I believe that the .380 ACP laid the groundwork for the .45ACP.

Thank you so much. I suppose I could have Googled that myself.

Random question for ya: I saw a picture of one of the Syrian rebel fighters with what looked like an AK rifle, but it had a bayonet that looked like the one on my chinese SKS (spike bayonet that folds back under the barrel.

What the heck was that? http://news.yahoo.com/photos/outrage-as-russia-china-veto-un-move-on-syria-1328457511-slideshow/#crsl=%252Fphotos%252Foutrage-as-russia-china-veto-un-move-on-syria-1328457511-slideshow%252Fsyrian-rebel-peers-window-idlib-syria-thursday-feb-photo-172517178.html%253B_ylt%253DAhxTS7dsIGLkPEJH5zf.YY i1qHQA%253B_ylu%253DX3oDMTNyMmtsZDBlBHBrZwM3ZDUyNT EyNy03ZTg1LTM0M2MtODI4ZC01NTZiZGU1OGQ5NzgEcG9zAzQz BHNlYwNNZWRpYUNhcm91c2VsUGhvdG9HYWxsZXJ5Q0FYSFIEdm VyA2I4M2EyMWJjLTUzZTEtMTFlMS1hZmY2LTQ5ZTQyZmIxOTE2 Mw--%253B_ylv%253D3

The .38 special is a rimmed cartridge. Used in revolvers' cylinder and head space on the rim.

The .380 auto is a rimless cartridge. Used in autoloaders' magazine and head space on the case mouth.

You can stack rimless cartridges in a magazine. Rimmed cartridges, not so much,

Sitting through a video for my "exposed firearm" permit(security guard) and I don't know how old this video it is... but it has Gerald McRainy when he was younger... so freakin' cheesy.
