Need some opinions. I'm thinking about buying this car:

a 1937 Chevy 2 door, 5 window coupe...
I think I've got a deal on it, but I want to know what you think it's worth.

Here's a couple more pics of it and by the way, it has a 350, air, automatic tranny, electronic injection, etc.

just what i can see from the pictures, it looks very nicely done. i like it. interior looks very nice as well. good engine and trans combination. nice color combination too and it does look pretty straight just from what i can see. the only thing i am not crazy about are the rims. minor detail though.

have it checked out professionally by a mechanic and if it passes muster, and you're comfortable with the price, then go for it.

The rims have to go.

On the one hand I am not a big fan of cars that have been modified but retain the stock look, but on the other hand it looks to be nicely done (except for the rims) and the mods seem to be all functional. Personally i would prefer to see a car that has been either hot-rodded (which is what I would do with that) or a true stocker. That car I would lower, chop it and channel it and build up the engine. Maybe a blower. It is too cherry to make a Rat Rod out of, but I do love that look!

I'm guessing 35, but I don't keep up on prices. A coworker would be real interested if you aren't.

I'm looking at it more as an investment than anything. But I'm sure I'll drive it for awhile before I sell it. I've seen them on the web for considerably higher than what these folks want for it
