True, you cannot travel at, or faster than light, BUT you can travel at 99.9999% of the speed of light.

Actually, it's Einstein's idea of time travel.

You have your facts mixed up. You don't age faster at near light speeds, you age slower.

Basically, what his theory says is that if you are moving at close to light speeds, time will slow down for you. You will age slower. A couple years of traveling at 99% light speed could be several decades for everyone else.

I'm gonna go with answer 2.

random question for the day. i wonder why some people join forums or discussion groups that have nothing to contribute to them? they only offer criticism of everyone else's opinions and ideas, but never have anything positive or useful to add to the discussion.

are they socially inept people who are lonely? have they led sheltered lives and have not truly interacted with others at a social level and don't know how to act?

Um... I'm just not smart enough to contribute anything. Unless someone wants to know something about diesels... And even then. Don't ask me about your Allison, they're freaking magic.

not talking about you in the least, nor people like you. just the people who add nothing to a discussion but either sarcasm or criticism of other peoples thoughts and opinions. they act as if they are superior to others, or have all the answers, but for some reason they never share or contribute such knowledge.

Oh, I know lots of people like that. I go to school with them. I agree with what Trip said to me yesterday. They should feel stupid for acting that way and if they don't it's because they're too stupid to realize it. made me giggle

What I meant is the faster thing will appear to have been away longer, gone longer at least than to themselves, to the slower place when they return. What would seem like minutes for the fast people could be years or decades back home. This is not time travel per se -- you can never go back (in time) unless you can exceed the speed of light which cannot be done according to the formula E=m(c*c). I saw Planet of the Apes!

Speaking of which, I see a troll is back.
