WOC. If I was to saw one of It would be for manuverability. The federal length regulations state that the barrel must be 18 inches or more and the overall length of the shotgun must be over 26 inches. I don't get the sawn off thing when you can buy a short replacement barrel for a reasonable price. Just my opinion. Keep the questions coming.

Motor converts energy to kinetic motion(such as electricity) an engine converts fuel to same.

Good (and correct) answer- except sometimes the language gets perverted- as is an outboard boat motor, the airplane that was the Ford Tri-Motor or a steam engine- and Detroit is Motor City.

Okay, please don't blast me as I have never hunted. There is a thread here of a man who shot a delicious looking goose. Is it legal (or ethical) to shoot a goose as it walks on the ground? Around here, the geese hardly move out of your way as you walk amongst them. I don't have the right gun to shoot a goose but I think "Man, that would be easy to pick one off right here."

Default Food for thought.....

Check the local laws on killing said geese, as for as having the right gun, just grab the goose and ring his or her neck. And make sure the goose lovers aren't watching........You need a recipe for that goose.......

Not to be argumentative, but:

An outboard electric trolling motor would work

A steam engine has a fuel...wood or coal

Detroit made it possible to motor...as in a verb...*to motor west on Route 66*

W-O-C, in re: Goose. Generally considered unsporting to shoot a "sitting duck". Here in VA we have a BUNCH of illegal immigrants- Canadian Gesse that have decided to quit flying all over the world, and stay here.

They have become a real pest. They will destroy 100 acres of young wheat in a few hours, and goose poo all over the sidewalk, dock, etc explains the phrase "like grass thru a goose". While hunting seasons for migratory birds are set by the Feds, Va Game comission has said "These are not migrating birds", and added a non-magratory snow goose season.

State game laws vary, but a rifle would clean up the mess at 100 yards of so (head shots). For MIGRATORY goose, shotgun only.

True, however, A steam engine converts steam into motion, technically the coal/wood doesn't "matter" lol.
