This brought forth a question I've been wondering about. Those of you who have CC permits.............did you have any reservations about being fingerprinted and put 'in the system' like that? To date, I have avoided being fingerprinted. Many health care workers are fingerprinted and put in a registry. So far, I have avoided it. If it is demanded of me at my job, I would do it. So far, no one's said a thing to me.

I am hesitant to get fingerprinted should I ever get the chance to apply for a conceal carry permit.

What's everyone's feelings on this? Am I just paranoid?

It sucks but if its what I have to do to legally protect myself than I'll live with it. I was in Marines so they already have fingerprints and dna on file somewhere. A little paranoia is a good thing

I felt the same way, but its a small price to pay, imo. What are they gonna do with the prints, digitally recreate them at a crime scene to frame me? Maybe it will bite me in the azz someday, but I live my life doing what's ethical and right. Besides, they got my prints from a little incident years ago, which the po po was wrong.

WOC, you aren't paranoid enough; the feds probably already HAVE your prints and are WATCHING you.

I feel the same on the prints, but I will get over it this year and get a permit, so I can carry outside of my car.

I'm with orange on that one,, if you have ever been in the service, or got bonded, etc., they have them,, I know mine are safely in a little file in Kansas City along with whatever else was collected for security clearances and what not that the USMC may have felt was necessary. My question is what do labs do with all the extra blood they have let over from various tests that doctors have ordered for their patients??????? A conspiracy theorist could bend your ear a long time on that one.

I didn't think about that one,,, reckon all the blood in a pod of whales wouldn't last them from dinner to supper.
