Oh, no sir. She's far beyond pranks. She needs to be heavily medicated.

Or Granache which, on top of the bourbon, might yield an even rantier rant.

I am getting a lap top. I know I need a wireless router to make it work in my house. Am I going to be able to get this all working by myself or am I going to need someone who 'knows what they're doing' to get this going for me? I am not very technically savvy but if the router comes with directions, I may be able to do it. Although, I'm not so worried about connecting the router as I am wondering how I'm going to get my laptop to pick up the whateveryoucallit that makes the computer work wirelessly. Any suggestions or advice?

I'm not tech savvy myself, but I can read very well. The directions on stuff like that has always seen me through quite reliably.

Go ahead and try it yourself with the directions. The great news is, if you manage to mess it up, it's nothing that can't be fixed. Oh, and, secure it with a password. You can set it up so that your computer remembers the pass, but anyone else would have to ask you for it, at least the first time.

Sooo........you think I can do this myself? I'm so excited to be getting a lap top and I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to set it up to use it. I can ask one of my kids to come help me but I am impatient and want it done NOW!! Just ask my Dad. When Balota came to visit my Dad told him stories of me doing things on my own I shouldn't do when I get tired of waiting for someone to come help me. Ah, yes.........the 'famous' garbage disposal story. It happened about 20 years ago and my Dad still tells it. And there's there's cutting down the 3 trees with a gas powered chain saw.............. A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do when no one wants to help.
