Four months go by and I finally get the check yesterday.

Here's my random question.......

Why do I have to pay my bills on time every months but when they owe me money it takes them 4 months to pay me?
I use that whenever a bill collector calls me. "Yes sir/madam, I've already put forth the request for said payment. It usually takes 6-8 weeks for my finance department to process that request." Then I say if they have any other questions they can contact my customer service dept while proceeding to give them the phone number they just called.

I've heard that International is having a batch of problems with their engines. When I drove short haul straight trucks I hated when Ryder would saddle me with one of their DT466 engined Internationals, those things were crap in my opinion.

However, Trez is talking about his Scout 80/800/II (SUV) that at minimum is 31 years old now, not a new International Truck. I've had my eye on a 1969 International Travelall just haven't pulled the trigger on it.

Send THEM a bill. Charge them interest, late fees, ect.

Actually did that some time back. Paid a car loan off, they owed ME a coupla bucks back. Sent them a note, assessing late fees, processing fees, collection fees, envelope licking fee, stamp surcharge, etc. Also that if their check was not printed on ion-sensitive frost free cardboard suitable for processing in my accounting equipment, a "in an absolute snit" fee. Total came to about $3.50.

Got a letter from the bank mgr. "Here's your two bucks. You can't get the rest unless you are a small loan company, but your letter was the best laugh of the year".

So I took my wire cutters on the next trip and stole their pen.

One year when I was with the tax commission, those idiots figured out that the letter of the law required the state to pay interest on a timely-filed individual income tax return's refund if it wasn't mailed by june 30. I LOL'd and got some very dirty looks.

haha I know, I still have to give him a hard time, I HATE International's Heavy Duty garbage, I wouldn't mind having a Scout. Don't tell Trez I said that though.

Probably 6 or 8 rounds for your .380.

I'm guessing I don't know what .380 is bringing right now.
