Well isn't it odd how the CEO said there were a "multitude of events" that caused the closing and he "won't go into details". I've learned to distrust those types of words, and stay far, far away from Alex Jones.

I was kidding. But I think you're post belongs in the conspiracy section. (again, kidding)

I'm like you, I trust no one, especially when they give such vague and mysterious reasoning for anything.

I imagine its not some thing cool or mysterious, like you would find in a mystery novel(even though I wish). I bet this dudes wife divorced him or something, she got the house and halve the money, and Charles Daly had to close down. Or maybe he just ran out of money. Who knows.

Probably so. It could even just be poor sales and he desperately wants to blame someone but doesn't want to look like a tool. Or he didn't want to come out and blame himself.

You forgot the tinfoil hat end of that joke, or did you lock it up for safe keeping?

Oh I never let people see my lead lined tinfoil hat. They might steal my thoughts of conspiracy and masturbatory mental images of the prophet and only true patriot, Alex Jones, his imminent holiness.

After some investigation, I discovered the REAL number to the florist was 5518. This was back in the day when everything was hand written. I guess the phone book people misread the numbers written down and put in my number. I would just politely give any callers the correct number. (This was back in 1987.)

Until.........one day an older lady called. I answered, "Hello." She asked if this was the florist. I told her, "No." She started yelling at me she was calling long distance and it was an expensive phone call and if I wasn't the florist then why the heck did I answer the phone?

I'm not even sure she quit yelling at me long enough to give her the correct number like I usually did. If I remember right, after she hung up, my phone rang again within minutes and I just didn't answer it.
Winds, you're just a lot more polite than I would have been. Right after Viking's answer the woman would have heard a resounding CLICK as I hung up.

Home made man. Custom fitted... You know how hot it is to pour molten lead over your head to mold it and get the tightest fit?

Obviously not. Besides, that's a waste of bullet molding material. I kinda like the radiation waves sometimes.
