I am looking to buy 5K Ruger rings to mount a scope on my Mark II. Does anyone else think it's weird that these rings are sold individually? Everywhere I look the price is for one ring only. Is this typical? It seems to me they would be sold in sets of two. Who ever needs one mounting ring?????

I have seen up to three rings on some firearms used to hold a scope.

Why do light bulbs come in packages of two when I need only one?

I have seen price quoted anywhere from $29.00 to $40.00 a single ring. Of course, I'm going with the $29 rings (they are all the same 5K Ruger rings) but is that a typical going price for mounting rings? I'm not complaining, well, maybe only a little. I've spent a lot of money dressing up Minnie the Mark II. Sheesh!! But she's going to be a lot of fun!!

Why buy one ring?

Some of us only wear one- left ear.

If your Ruger has the Weaver style rail, you don't need the Ruger brand rings.

Look on OpticsPlanet for rings.
