A STOCK jeep has 1/4 ton suspension and and axles so yeah, you can't bolt 37s on and roll but neither can a fj cruiser, landcruiser, Toyota pick up, or any other 1/2 ton or smaller truck. So what do we do? We build them up to handle the abuse.... But a maintained stock wrangler is EASILY a 200k miles vehicle. My argument is that the WRANGLER, not a liberty or compass or any other suv, but a wrangler is the most capable off road mass produced vehicle on the market

this half-ton truck can easily take 37" tires. the axles are stock and very capable of handling them. it has 33" tires on it currently with a 2.5" lift. my biggest problem right now is the 3.55 gears that need to be replaced with about 4.10 gears to get my upper pulling power back up again.

I'll post a little report when I do the job. It might not be for a while. It is very cold here and most products of any type don't recommend use when it's so cold out.

That Dana 44 will snap a stub shaft or u joint the first time you get a 37" tire bound up n the rocks and give it some throttle. Get stuck n the mud, try turning the wheels and that front end WILL come apart

I've used plastic polish to clean up headlight lenses, it works pretty good. It doesn't seem to last, and some lenses have a clearcoat layer that is physically gone. If this is the case, the base plastic underneath will clean up, but fade quickly. Storing in the garage, out of the sun, is the key.
