Here's another car question.....though much less technical.

I have a 2001 Honda Accord. The head light covers are very scratched as if they were sandblasted, which they basically have been over the years. Is there any way to buff those scratches out of the headlight covers? I think my head lights would be much brighter if I could clear the covers. Or do they need to be replaced.

Winds, try one of those headlight restoration kits at the parts store or even WalMart may carry it.

They do work that's what I would recommend. If you have a drill, 3M makes a good one with a buffing pad that fits in your drill. Easier to use and works better. Auto zone sells them.

I do have a drill......and that is one power tool I'm not afraid of. I will look into that. Thanks!

Electric chainsaw? That's too much power for me. My chainsaw is rechargeable battery powered. ROFL But I knew you had faith in me, C3. Since you're retired and all, maybe you'll volunteer to come take care of the headlights for me?

lol being a car guy the first page of this makes me chuckle that there was so much "Evo" confusion.

Here's a question: Why do people feel as though ranting on facebook will accomplish anything?

I don't think it accomplishes anything but sometimes it just helps to b!tch about something. For example, I just got angry and posted an entire paragraph about why I'm mad at Toyota today. Did it fix my truck? No. Do I feel better? Slightly.

haha I mean I can understand a slight rant at times, just some people act like it's their life's mission.
