Frankie- normally used for long term storage of MILITARY weapons. If you are buying a Winchester, Remington Savage marlin- NO. If you are buying a military surplus rifle sold by Gander- maybe. Although many are sold having been about 95% cleaned up,

Default Question.........

I've heard that hollow point bullets can lose their effectiveness if the hollow part gets clogged with clothing as it hits the bad guy, causing it not to mushroom open but to act like a solid bullet. Then I see those Hornady bullets with the little plug in the hollow point. I've been told that's so nothing gets clogged in the hollow point. But it looks to me like something already is clogged in the hollow point........put there by the manufacturer. I don't understand how clothing can stop a hollow point from mushrooming but that plug will not stop the bullet from mushrooming.

Do you think I will ever be able to build my own AR-15 with help from someone who knows what they are doing?

A drunk monkey can build an AR from scratch. You could do one easily.

Apparently blue is not a very appetizing color, they've actually done studies on this.

And I think Gorilla's have nipples?

Why am I reading posts on FTF instead of solving quadratic equations?

Well, then, I'm afraid a drunk monkey might be smarter than me. When I read the threads from those building AR-15's I don't always know what the heck they are talking about. And what's with all those springs?

I think you might be overestimating my knowledge of guns. I am very jealous of your pink AR-15, by the way. Dang, you are one lucky lady.
