At this point, that's exactly what it is, scrap.

Here's another random question.

Can I keep my power tools in a unheated, unattached garage or should I keep them in my basement? I don't want them to get ruined. All I really have is a drill, sander, jigsaw, dremel tool. Will they be okay year after year in extreme temperatures and sometimes high humidity?

Cord powered or battery? The humidity will be the biggest issue.

I'd keep them inside.

The drill and dremel is battery. The sander and saw is cord.

Okay. I will. It's not a big issue I have always kept them inside but I was just wondering.

That's what I would do, it probably wouldn't hurt the sander and the saw to store them in the garage, the temperature will eventually ruin those battery packs though, and they ain't cheap.

I keep my tools in the (attached) garage. Then again. I live in Texas, so it never gets super cold here.

That's what I'll do, then. Thanks.

Seriously? Why? It's still sitting in the backyard waiting for the scrap man to show up.
