anyone here ever cooked a skull before? im saving my antlers from my last buck and im tired of waiting. i was letting nature do its thing but its been neer 2 years and it still needs help. my other one was fine in a year. any tips?

I guess I don't understand I have mounted several of my antlers. I never cooked anything.

I had a guy that lived next to one of my stations. He was way big into hunting and would do what you are referring to. He did it outside with a propane cooker and a LARGE pot.

Oh ok I just cut the crown off the skull, but your mounting the whole scull. Did you try lots of salt.
