1. ALL spiders are venomous. How did you think they ate? They are not vegans. Many spiders do not have fangs that can penetrate human skin. About 5 years ago got a bite in inside of forearm while weeding garden. 2 puncture marks, skin died in area about half inch, used a lot of cortizone cream for 2 weeks.

2. MOST center fire tube magazine rifles did use non-spitzer bullets. However, besides the Lebel, Remington made a line of rifle years back that had a pronounced spiral groove in the magazine- that caused cartridges to cant to one side, so bullet did not rest on primer.

Why has no one taken a centerfire to a spider, then posted pics here?

Why did that not catch on? I think a lever action in 30-06 or .300 Win Mag would be AWESOME!

(Note: Yes, I know that the Winchester Model 1895 came in 30-06 plus a few other calibers, but it was a magazine fed gun, not a tube fed one.)

Random question:
Did anyone else see that crazy a$$ Austrian jump off the weather balloon at the edge of space? Highest freefall jump I believe. It is amazing, and takes a set of cajones.
