Do firearms that take En-Bloc clips have magazines? Was reading another forum and the whole clip vs. Mag thing was going on.... And somebody explained like this "Clips load magazines, Magazines load firearms" What about guns like the M1 Garand, Carcano, and Steyr '95?? That feed from their "clips"?

and that sir, are a few of the exceptions. there arent many. but they do exsist.

Actually, the Garand loads the clip into the magazine. So did the Carcano.

So... To get very specific...
The clip, holding bullets, the whole thing resides in the magazine, correct?

Ok, from what ive looked up, "En-Bloc" means "all together".. I guess the clip, magazine, follower are "en-bloc" as one unit in the rifle... ??
