I'd rather my own son see me die on my feet as a free man, than watch him go, broken, into slavery.

I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillement of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause, and lies exhausted on the field of battle... Victorious.
Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats.

Belive me, I can identify with that.
Random fact: I was born missing a rib on the left side along with the coresponding half of the vertibrae, and my left leg is 1 inch shorter than my right. It has been that way most of my life. The length difference is in my femur, not the lower leg.

Its not that I don't like people, its just that I feel better when they aren't around.

Random fact about me:
My first after school job was growing flowers and helping a driver deliver them for a greenhouse. I was 8. And I had/have a very talented green thumb, with absolutely no technique beyond water, sunshine, and tender loving care. Plants are easy to get along with. I learn what they like, I learn their personality, and I nurture that.
As soon as I own my own home, I'm going to start a rose garden and a peach orchard, just like my two grandfathers had, respectively.

My youngest son is a horticulture major in college. He loves greenhouse work, too.

Hey, I was a forestry major, with several scholarships through horticulture and garden clubs.
