Several years ago (middle school), I took a chunk out of a cinder block wall with my face.  (and yes, it hurt like hell.)
We were running relays, and they decided to put the finish line 4 feet away from the wall. Well I was running hard, and I think the guy behind me pushed me. Not hard, but enough. I don't think it was on purpose though. You were supposed to tag the other guy, and that's what happened. I had to get a few teeth repaired, and a root canal done. I took a bigger chunk out of that wall then it did to me though.
I have an abnormally high pain tolerance (compared to most men, and women). (it helped in the situation above)
