My first tattoo was done by a homemade tattoo gun in a trailer park when I was 14. Yes that's true. My parents were furious when they found out so I left out the fact that I was drunk. Yikes!!!

do you think they would have been as mad if you hadn't gotten a tattoo, but told them you got drunk?

Probably. The bad thing was that I broke up with a guy and he had someone call to tell on me. I got home and my Mom said "Take your socks and shoes off". I knew I was busted but I pretended I had to go potty so I could throw away the pack of cigarettes away that was hidden in my sock. She took me to the doc to see if it could be removed and to have my blood checked for hepatitis etc. Now I have 17 and covered my first one. I got most of my wildness out at a young age.

My Mom and I used to walk through cemeteries and look at the headstones. It was almost like a history lesson. You could see there were many deaths in certain years....maybe specifically in the winter of that year and you can figure maybe a flu swept through killing many people. You could see a young woman buried next to or with a baby and know that woman probably died in childbirth or shortly thereafter. It was just very interesting. We would wander through and wonder about the lives of those who were buried there. You would see a year where there seemed to be a lot of children who died. Again, probably a disease that swept through the town. To us, these weren't just dead people. We'd try to imagine their lives.

I was the same way, I quit drinking for 4 years after my little road trip to Texas.... And even now, I drink very little and only in trusted company and I NEVER accept drinks from anyone.

I haven't had a drink in about 2 years. I have been drunk ONCE in my life, and I didn't like it. (I did do it safely though)
