Another random fact: I find it on the disrespectful side when people make a "fad" out of those who commit suicide by making Facebook pages for them even though they'll be forgotten by everyone except the family with in a month to month and a half.
I strongly agree

Your kids are probably much better off for it. I have held two jobs before just so that my wife could stay home with the kids. She has rang bells for the Savation Army just because she wanted to help them.

I don't believe in god, but live like I do. Who do you think he will favor in the end? Totally serious question. I'm not bashing you for "not living like it".

Those who do believe and have excepted Jesus as their savior. And if you have you will want to live like it.

Well, it depends on your religious beliefs. The Bible says that the only way to heaven is thought Christ. On the other hand, IIRC, Jews don't believe in Hell and live their lives the best they can because they think that's what they should do.

I pray daily for the technology that can alter a fetus' brain to be experienced and educated before even birth, and the legal commandment that all parents must consult their child before birth on whether or not that child would like to be born. Kind of an interview process. I would loved to've been afforded that chance, as I'd've said, "yeah, go ahead and wrap it up this cycle, I'm not at all interested. Thanks!"

I believe that belief in any diety is pathetic, but understandable, however all organized religion is self-inflicted stupidity and purposeful ignorance.

That said, I believe, no matter how slef-indulgent and righteous it is to be religious, that religion is about the only thing that keeps this society from being total anarchy. Don't get me wrong, I'd prefer it that way, but there are some good things that come of the high-horse frame of mind.

This makes me very sad.
