When I was in 8th grade I was scheduled to have my yearly school physical after my lunch period. I got the bright idea to take the plastic container of apple juice that I received with lunch along with me to pour into the urine cup as a joke. (they tested our sugar) When I walked out to hand the nurse the cup I said " hmm that looks a little cloudy. Let me try that again." At that point I drank it. As I stood there grinning thinking I was funny, the nurse grabs me by the ear yanking me into the school office. I got 5 days off of school for that. I also found out about 3 more times after that the school administration there didn't have much of a sense of humor as it seemed I was always in detention or on suspension. The fact the I had to change schools because they were not going to let me graduate until I finished all my detention didn't thrill my parents to say the least.

Ok she's my daughter. We are meeting at Range USA for their "date night". 1 lane, 2 targets, 2 boxes of shells and dinner for 2. All for 39.99.

How can you beat that ?
We had a great time. It took us both a mag to get used to the new to us sig 229/40. We shot low first time then concentrated on trigger squeeze. The groups got much tighter.

Much to our suprise the little diner at the range is owned by an executive chef. The help is cooking school students. Needless to say it was all excellent.

They hate you too!

Bees are like dogs. They can sense when someone is nervous or doesn't like them.

Carpenter bees have stingers, but I have never in my life heard of anyone who got stung by one. I hate the damage they do.

That is one of the most difficult things to get used to with beekeeping. When one gets angry and starts buzzing you in the face you have to just calmly walk away without swatting at her. Swat her and she will sting, which sets the tone for the next hour or so. Its not fun.
