I'd rather my own son see me die on my feet as a free man, than watch him go, broken, into slavery.

Honey and lemon with hot tea.

And if God didn't want us to sweeten our iced tea, he wouldn't have invented sugar cane, and given us the brain power (debatable for some people), to refine it, and the free will to use it as we please. Check.

I live in a very small town also; actually, it is classified as a village.
When I go to the city, population about 1K people, there are very few homeless people, but when I see one I try to help them.

All I can say is this: that's too much sugar to put in the human body, we ain't geared for it.

You are a good man. I help whenever I can, too. And I like watching "The Golden Girls" on the Hallmark channel. I forgot how funny they were.

And I like my iced tea black.

But I'll add this about tea, to each his or her own... As long as we all enjoy it right....

Tea, hot or cold, preferrences in order: honey, small amount of brown sugar is a close second, powdered stevia leaves, or sugar. I'll drink it just fine unsweetened, but I'm not a hummingbird either.

Sweet tea with lemon. I drink about a gallon a day.

I tasted chai tea one time, almost spit it on the floor.
