Don't hate on our sweet tea of the south. How can you stand unsweetened teas? And no a little sugar is still unsweetened.

Two of my favorite channels to watch are LMN and Hallmark.
If I see a homeless person I give them food and offer to give them a ride to anywhere they want to go, within reason, never over a 50 mile radius.

Good Lord man, that southern sweet tea is nasty stuff. Makes my fillings hurt just thinking about it! When I was traveling therabouts I saw a gal at a diner refilling the sweet tea dispenser (those recirculating rigs with a transparent tank) and the first thing she did was pour a 5 pound bag of cane sugar into the tank, and then topped off the tank. It was 1/3 full to begin with!

I have a touch of honey in my tea. That's enough.

Mead is like beer. Many, many different kinds. And the specific honey you use makes a difference too. I have had some good ones and some bad ones.

sweet tea and unsweetened tea. i have and do drink both. at home if we drink tea, we drink Red Diamond sweet tea. when we go out to a restaraunt, i will usually drink unsweetened tea.

many years ago, i had to cut my sugar intake drastically, so the sweet tea wasone thing i cut out. well for many years that i had drank it, it was definately an acquired taste. i still enjoy sweet tea occasionally, but actually prefer it unsweetened now, dashed with a slice of lime.

If God wanted tea to be sweet, he would have put sugar in tea leaves, just saying.....

Yuck. Gotta have sugar in tea for me to touch it. Hot tea is a different story. Then I like honey.
