I'm a red blooded American loving married guy conservative who loves to shoot. And I have no use for beer or football. Let the hating commence.

I find football to be boring. I go to football parties for the food, and talk firearms.

I love food, but the BBQ pulled pork in my house has already been eaten by me

The random fact about me is I think my brother in law is a hypocrite . :O

I've tried to getting him involved with guns by just talking to him about them.

When I mentioned to him about getting his ccw permit. The first thing out of his mouth is "I don't like guns". So the conversation ended there.

Now, when he came over for Christmas, he was telling my dad about a ruger he wants to buy.

Apparently, when he moved the family to Colorado his friends there are all pro gun... Sooo now he's all pro gun. I give up!

I know it's an insult since he didn't listen to you but I'd take that "win" any way I could. Take him shooting.

I agree with Winds, take this as an opportunity. You are in a position to deepen his new found hobby! Bring him to the range and have an AR/AK/Glock or other black gun in the car. If he hasn't had the opportunity yet this may be a golden moment!

And don't forget to tell him "I told you so" as you hand him one of yours to shoot.
