I am a prepper. When the shift hits the land (earthquake) around here you will be a fool not to be. Could also be a wildland fire or any number of other scenarios, all of them are so likely to happen that they have happened before.

There are a number of less likely scenarios that might happen, some of those have already happened as well. If you are talking about prepping for the Zombie Apocalypse I would probably agree with you that those people are a little soft in the head.

On your second point I won't argue.
