Years ago we adopted a greyhound from the racetrack...great dog and no rabbit problems in the garden

I started with 16 tomato plants and have two left. I've got 20 more started and 15 traps long the row I plan to plant them in next week.
I shall freeze them and garnish them off the grill with tomatoes this fall.

Im mad as hell now, I went to put some pee around the garden and my 2nd spinach plant is also damn near gone!!!!!!! I only have one big healthy one left that they are nibbling on, will the other plants regrow their leaves?

But seriously, you may need to put some wire basket over your last plant...maybe hook it up to a welding machine too...

Much respect for adopting, lots of pets need good homes.

beast, I can't come up with anything that has not been suggested here already. Personally, I would go with ammonia or bloodmeal. I used to sprinkle it around my bikes and my classic cars to keep those pesky little rodents who like to chew on wiring away. Stuff works.

On the dog idea, My lab patrols the back yard, and finds the rabbits. The problem is, she keeps bringing the babys she finds back to my wife and me. Unharmed of course, she has that typical soft mouth. Now, if I can just teach her to put things back where she found them.
