anyone heard the new Queen song with Paul Rodgers? its called "c-lebrity".. my friend at umgd told me to go their myspace and check out a live performance of the song... noone can take freddie mercurys place, but i definitely felt like Paul was a good fit for the new direction... heres the link, see what im talkin about

I had the rere pleasure of seeing Queen live in Houston in 1978. Amazing! No one could ever replace Freddie Mercury. I personally believe the name of the band should have been buried with him. Kind of like a Beatles reunion tour with two new (replacement) members...would not work.
I agree. Mercury was irreplaceable. The rest of the band are great in their own right, but they should have stuck with solo projects or assimilated into other bands.
