I like the original Ruffles, some spicy kettle chips and onion dip. There are others, but these are my favorite.

Taters ....................
I grew up eating deep fried potato's or what you call Kettle chips. When momma was in a hurry she would just wash off the dirt, slice the taters a quarter inch thick and fryem up in lard. One of my favorites is deep fried sweet potato sprinkled with sugar.....

anyone remember O' Gradys, those real thick ridged chips they used to sell 10-15 years ago....i dont think they were local, but they were great.....i cant find em anymore, but they were my favorite chip growing up.
We also happened to live next door to the Vitners, so we used to get a big box of all their stuff at christmas too....ah, the good ole days.....
there is a produce store with a chip making machine here in the city that makes these awesome, thin tasty sweet potatoe chips.....currently my favorite- i think they're called Jimney chips becuase they're made with this patented Jimney chipmaking machine...
nice summer picnic/bbq/food related post WOC!!

I do enjoy a nice salt and vinegar chip though.

Lancaster County, PA...the salty snack capital of the world! Also home to Gibble's, Herrs, Martins and Utz...and who can forget the Hannover and Intercourse pretzel factories.
