That's part of the reason I went ground pounder. You squids and fly boys get shuffled around too much even for my tastes, and like adventure.

I already posted my military stuff in the other thread.
But I was a Police officer with the Colo Springs Police Department from 1-1-74 until 9-11-99. I worked patrol, traffic, swat, FTO, and MPO.
From 1-2000 till 10-2006 I was a reserve officer in Wasilla, AK WPD (Sara Palin swore me in).
From 8-2001 to 8-2002 I was the Chief of Animal Control for the Mat-Su Borough in Palmer, AK. From 9-2002 to 10-2006 I was a Security Officer on TAPS (Trans Alaska Pipeline System).
From 5-2007 to 1-2011 I was a reserve deputy for the Winston County SO, AL.
From 1-2011 till 10-2011 I was a Capt. (patrol commander) Winston County SO, AL.
I am now retired (for good I hope) But still am a reserve, if needed, and do some volunteer work for the SO and FOP.

Could have very well been the Hamilton. I was also on it's sister ship for 2 yrs. the Jarvis. I used to eat the heck out of the pizzas at the ( facility name? I forgot....and that bar upstairs....was crazy wild The Tundra Tavern had great food as well.
