The whole truck stop is pretty cool. Parking for 800 rigs, 4 restraunts, Trucer store large enough for three custom rigs including one with a custom trailer, large gift shop, a truck wash, fueling lanes for 16 trucks, and a lot more. Here is their website:http://Iowa80truckstop.com. We killed 4 hours there just checking it out

I kind of have a thing for big trucks and heavy equipment... I could spend all day there.

Nothing wrong with that, If we haden't been running under a time crunch, we would have stayed longer. Given your line of work, I kind of figured you would want to check the place out. I got my first look around the place7 years ago when I went on a west coast run with a friend of mine. At that point, they had just fininshed up the chrome shop, and they were just filling the shelves on my return trip. They hadn't even broken ground on the museum at that point. Sometime in the next 5 years the wife and I are heading to Sturgis. Iowa 80 is one of our planned stops. She hasn't been there yet, but after seeing the pictures from the move she really wants to.

At some point I'll have to post some pictures of the salt flats. We stopped there at sunset, and it was beautiful. The only thing I wish I could have gotten a shot of was the salt lake. It was to dark when we passed through Salt Lake City.

I have never heard of that.

You should watch "Waiting". You'll learn all kinds of stuff and never go out to eat again.
