vikingdad, is that a 45/70? I have one that looks a lot like that, though it is NOT a "rare find". It is about 4 years old.

Yes, its an original 1886 in 45/70 with the dual trigger. Somebody spent some coin on this back in the day. I started a thread on it here, http://www.firearmstalk.com/forums/f18/picked-up-three-rifles-today-76236/
